About the Author
My name is Desislava Manova-Georgieva and I’m the author of the website OnlinePR.
My experience in the fields of media and PR started in 1998 in the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication in the Sofia University with a Bachelor program in Public Relations. My Master degree is in European Studies and Intercultural Communication from the University of Applied Sciences in Fulda, Germany. Since February 2011, I’ve started a PhD program in Media and PR and I’m recently doing a research on: “Communicating Europe among the young people in the regions through the social media in Internet.”
My professional experience is in a non-governmental organization in Berlin, in Bulgarian national media, in the Committee of the Regions in Brussels, as well as in some PR and advertising agencies. My last project is: PernikMedia.net – information portal for Pernik and the region.
I speak English and German, as well as Russian and French (basic knowledge).
My motto is: I think only for the best, I work only in the best way and I expect only the best!
